how to knit a snake

Here's how I care for the things I have been knitting. Let me start by introducing you to the five stitch types that I believe are at the very heart of knitting!

You should keep some extra yarn while knitting, which will not affect the efficiency. When you complete a lovely, warm sweater made with your own hands, you can proudly wear it and explain that you knitted it yourself. I read somewhere that if it's mild enough but effective enough for my hair it must be good enough for my knitting.

As far as the patterns are concerned you should remember that the pattern and the ply should be the same, so use four ply yarn for a four ply pattern and Aran' yarn for an Aran' pattern. Keeping the yarn at the back, bring it "over" the tip of the needle, counterclockwise. I hope you could follow my basic knitting instructions.

A tie is visible at the left; after untying, the hank may be wound into a ball or balls suitable for knitting. Smooth, highly spun yarns are best for showing off stitch patterns; at the other extreme, very fuzzy yarns or eyelash yarns have poor stitch definition, and any complicated stitch pattern would be invisible.

It doesn't all happen at once. Not only will this provide a nice social outlet, but your new knitting friends may also be able to help you locate and use new knitting patterns and new ideas for knitting projects.
