I wanted to set out some basic knitting instructions as a refresher so here it is. Knitting is no longer only for grandmothers or just any mothers.

Scissors obviously are necessary for cutting the yarn, large darning needle or tapestry needle which can be used for sewing seams or for finishing off ends, knitting needles because how can you possibly knit without these. The handspun yarn will probably be a little more expensive, but it will have a much softer feel and possibly be a little warmer.
